Call time of 4:30 eh shempre sa tropa meron talagang very good dba? We left Cainta at 5:30ish in the morning.
Eye bags pa more!! |
From Cainta - Mauban Quezon with just 2 stop overs, only took us 3 1/2 hours to get there. My guess-timation of distance from Cainta - Mauban is 140-150km.
THANK YOU GOOGLE!! |
When we arrived at Mauban Quezon we parked our car at my uncle's house. 9:30am, just in time for the 10:00am public ferry trip! Budgeted kase kame besides may mga kasama kame na a bit scared sa boat rides, eh un private boat it's way smaller than the public one. Depende pa kung ilan kayo.
Dami naming baon... charot! |
11amish we arrived at cagbalete port, since katirikan ng araw at witchels bet ng lola mo maglakad ng 10-15minutes to get to PANSACOLA BEACH RESORT, lipat galore kame sa smaller boat to take us there.
It was low tide. As in no water. Nagkakaubusan ng tubig sa pilipinas. But then again, this island is just breathtaking. This place is indeed the perfect place if you want to get away from the noisy city. Pang soul searching ang peg dito.
MAJINET JACKSON! |
Dahil nagkagutuman sa byahe. Orfang agad pag dating. We did not opt for the ALL DAY MEAL where in you have to pay P850 and above (depende if ilan kayo) and all you have to do is wait for your food to be served. A little pricey, yes. But imagine, you'll eat Breakfast - before lunch - Lunch - Merienda - Dinner. Buhay prinsesa or prinsipe ba hanap mo at ayaw mo na ng may aasikasuhin pa, I suggest you get the all day meal. TRUST ME IT'S WORTH IT. ALL CAPS PA.
ITLOG NA MAALAT AT EMPI KERI NA. CHAR. |
After eating, dahil overnight lang naman kame. We don't have time to sleep. Nomo agad agad agad after lunch. And of course, after 2 bottles, it was time to enjoy this beautiful place.
Tootsie-Roll #COC |
Then we enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset. Umeellen adarna pa kame ng friend ko. Charot! Hahaha
Ohh haa -- di ako yan. |
Oh haa -- yan ako na yan |
Woke up at exactly 6:00am kase nategibells na yung generator. (generator runs from 6pm-6am. The Whole island doesn' have electricity. Every resort uses a generator). Had a quick brekkie and gorabells na sa panegrahan challenge.
It was a beaaauuutiffful morning. Kasing beaaauutiful namen CHARAUGHT HAROT! Hahaha. Anywhooo tahuu, we then went to the mangroves.
(With life vest naman). Kuya then got us a bucket full of fresh UNI (Sea urchins) we have our lemons (taray lemons calamansi lang naman) spoon and bowl.
Fresshhh UNIII |
This is my 2nd time eating UNI, first time I really did not appreciate it. Lasang dagat. Hahaha! Sabe nga nila Love is sweeter the second time around so again, I gave it a go, and asked my friends to try it too. No wonder delicacy siya.
Eto na nga swimming time, more kulitan sa dagat. Panegrahan challege is on!
Look how clear and blue the water is.
We had to go back sa resort at 11:00am kase the trip back to mauban is at 1:00pm.
"Manong, sa kanto lang..." |
The water is soooo clear.
12:30pm it was time to say goodbye to this paradise. This time it only took us 30mins to get back to mauban port. On our way home, we remembered seeing this river and cool bridge and decided to stop over and just check it out.
I'm not sure if this is actually part of pagsanjan falls. (Nagaassume lang ako. Haha). Places like this makes you realize how incredible Mother nature is.
We did not do anything there, literally just took pictures, crossed the bridge, took more pictures. There was a fence before we could get to the river, had to ask permission to the guy living on the other side of the fence. It was kind of him to let us pass. Thanks kuya!
"Ingat kayo, Madulas ung mga bato" -Awtsu |
Going back to Cainta, took us 5 hours due to heaps of stop overs. Bawat bayan ata na may makitang kakaiba, hinihintuan namen. (Ayaw lang umuwe). Dahil inabot na kame hapon sa daan, we then saw the overwhelming sunset over laguna de bay. It was astounding.
This ends our little adventure. We had so much fun, enjoyed each others company, and was so mesmerized by the place that we were already planning the next time we will go back. Even as a kid, I have always loved Cagbalete Island and considered it as our very own Paradise.
Thank you Tito Rommel, Tita Fe , Kuya Rhet, Tita apple and the rest of the Pansacola beach Resort crew for taking care of us!
